Weekend Update with Assistant Principal Jonathan Marina

Good evening Largo High Family. This is assistant principal Jonathan Marina. Welcome to another installment of the weekend update.

We will be hosting our FSA testing for English Language Arts Writing April 19 for 10th grade, April 20th for 9th grade and April 21st for 11th grade scholars in need of a score for graduation. Face to Face scholars will be assigned to two different testing windows, one beginning at 7:25 and another at 10:45. Your scholar will be given their testing locations and times by their teachers next week. Scholars with accommodations will begin testing during the 7:25 AM session.

MyPCS Online students will need to report to the school for the 7:25 testing sessions and will be checked in outside of the Media Center. Masks must be worn while on campus, and any student experiencing symptoms should remain at home.

PTSA is looking for new board members for next year. If you are interested in a rewarding volunteer opportunity as part of a great team, please email ptsalargohigh@gmail.com by April 27.

Parents and guardians, please help us by ensuring your child leaves your home in the morning in dress code and with a mask.

We are pushing our scholars to make it to all classes on time.  After the five-minute tardy mark, we will be sending late scholars to the cafeteria.  They will have online access to the class they were extremely tardy for that period.  Help us to build your young person’s good habits of timeliness.

On Tuesday our softball team and flag football are at home.  The games start at 7 pm.

As always, thank you for taking the time to listen. We are on a mission. The mission is graduation. Don’t forget the mission.
