The International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at Largo High School is a magnet program that aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understand and respect.
The program is a four year course of study with two phases: Pre-IB in 9th and 10th grades, the IB Diploma Programme in 11th and 12th grades.
How to Apply
To apply to this program, you will need to live in the mid application area, comprised of the high school zones for Clearwater, Dixie Hollins, Largo, Pinellas Park and Seminole.

- Apply Online using the Student Reservation System https://reservation.pcsb.org
- Select: International Baccalaureate (IB) at Largo High
- REMEMBER: After completing the application online, non‐Pinellas County School students must deliver all documentation of program eligibility to the Largo IB Office.
- February
- Log onto the Student Reservation System during the acceptance period to accept the program invitation.
- If you do not accept the invitation during this period, your child’s invitation will no longer be valid.
- Target Group 1
- Test scores: Standardized Reading and Math Stanine - 8 or 9; FSA Reading & Math - 352; Final Academic Grades in Middle School - A's & B's
- Target Group 2 (Course pre-requisites must be met)
- Pre-requisite courses: Algebra I Honors (or Algebra I credit through the Credit Acceleration Program(CAP), Pass the Algebra 1 EOC
- Students who do not meet the above testing or academic grades criteria may be placed in this group. At least 10% of the incoming 9th grade class will be selected from Target Group 2.
