Largo IB Partners is hosting a Valentines Day Social on Friday February 14th during lunch in the Media Center. Our scholars are invited to stop by for a Valentines Day treat. Pinellas County Schools Summer Driver’s Education Program
Pinellas County Schools will offer a driver education camp at nine locations in June. They will be open to both public and private school students at a cost of $156.00 per student. There will be two sessions which are scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Students will register online starting Feb. 17- 23, 2020. Students will be selected for the program through a lottery process. Every student who registers online Feb 17- 23rd will have the same chances of being selected. Students will be notified of their placement via email starting March 9th.

Volunteers Needed for Largo High History Day Competition
Good Morning, IB Families,
Largo High needs your help! We have had
additional projects submitted and as a result, more judges are needed for
the Largo High History Day competition. We need both on-site
judges as well as remote judges for websites and papers. Please know
that NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED!
On-Site Judging at Largo High on Friday, January 17th
7:30am - Arrival and Coffee
8:00am – Judges Training
8:30 am – 1:00pm – Interviews with students
Lunch
A few judges will be needed for after lunch for Finals (no
interviews)
Off-Site judging will be the week of January 6th.
Papers and websites will be sent out via email to be judged remotely.
Volunteers can help on-site, remotely, or both.
NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED! On-site Judges will
interview in pairs and will be trained on how to interview and fill out the
judging form. Remote judges will be given instructions and a spreadsheet
judging form.
We are also in search of donations for breakfast and lunch
for our volunteers. If you can not volunteer as a judge, please consider
donating towards feeding our judges for the day.
