Who are we?
The Largo High School IB Partners Organization is a non-profit organization run by a volunteer board of parents, students, teachers, and administrators.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the organization is to support the students, their families, the faculty, and administration of the International Baccalaureate Program (IB) by providing financial and administrative support, disseminating information about the program, sponsoring social and study events, and supporting student CAS projects.
Goals:
- To provide IB parents and students an opportunity to meet with other IB parents, students, teachers and administrators to share ideas, ask questions, and find answers.
- To establish a forum for parents and students to obtain IB information, school information, upcoming booster events, community service information, and college acceptance information.
- To complete fundraisers to help create funds for IB pinning ceremony, graduation, social gatherings, field trips, and testing registration fees.
How can you help?
To accomplish our mission the Booster Organization relies on memberships, contributions, and volunteers. All parents with students in IB are encouraged to join and participate in the Booster Organization. It is a direct way to stay connected and to help students succeed in the upcoming rigorous International Baccalaureate program.
How do I join?
The basic yearly fee to join the Largo IB Partners Organization is $25.00
How often do we meet?
The board meets the first Tuesday of every month. There are four general meetings during the school year for members in September, December, March, and May. The general meetings are the second Tuesday of those months.
