Final Transcripts
· Final Transcripts (for your high school coursework) will be available as of Monday June 1st. You may have heard information about requesting transcripts on the all calls that Mr. Marina puts out every Sunday, however I am asking that you go through me instead to ensure your transcript is sent!
o Anyone who indicated they will be attending college in-state on your senior survey - I will be sending your transcript for you directly to the University via FASTER/SPEEDE.
o Those that are attending out of state - I need you to email me how you would like the transcript to be sent electronically (for example, Common App, Coalition, Send EDU, etc.). While most schools do not accept an official transcript via email, there are some that do - if you are having trouble figuring out a way to send it because maybe you applied by the institution application and they do accept transcripts via email, please send me the email that you would like for me to send it to.
· Your IB Diploma Transcript is a SEPARATE TRANSCRIPT that will be sent directly to the University you indicated you would be attending in your senior survey. The results will be available to view by the student Monday July 6th and can be accessed with your unique IB Pin Code (More information about this to come from Mr. Liem). Your University usually receives this transcript early-mid August, around the same time you are signing up for classes. My advice to you on this is to be proactive with this piece; call your admissions office and check to see if they have received it and ask how you can schedule a time to meet with a counselor to review the credits you earned through your IB diploma results (and don't forget to ask about AP exam credit if that applies to you as well). Some schools are better than others on this so it's important to speak up. You do not want to be stuck in a prereq that you should have received credit for - that will be a waste of everyone's time and money!
· Check your personal email - I sent individual emails to students that have not completed thier Bright Futures application (FFAA). This is VERY important, as you MUST complete this application before the end of summer to be eligible. If you are unsure if you submitted it or not, shoot me an email (wolfecai@pcsb.org) - I'm happy to go in and check for you! :)
Thanks for getting through this lengthy message :) Please continue to send me questions or concerns you may have as you begin this transition. I am so proud of all of you and am so excited on what you are about to embark on in this next phase of life! You guys have worked so hard to get to this point and it is truly something to look forward to!
