Congratulations to the Largo High Science Olympiad Team!

 

The Largo High Science Olympiad team competed at regionals last month.  Three of our events made it to the top 3 of the competition: 

1.       Grace Polson and Elise Tong placed 2nd in Anatomy and Physiology;

2.      Laura Liu and Elise Tong placed 2nd in Ornithology; 

3.      Charles Oberlander and Beckett Stansell placed 3rd in Rocks and Minerals. 

Our team placed 6th overall among all the high schools from as far north as the panhandle and as far south as Miami-Dade County. The Largo High Science Olympiad team is the only Pinellas County school team that qualified for the 2022 Florida State Championship on March 26th!!
